Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to service power distribution and critical power infrastructure in the U.S. You will perform startup, repair, maintenance, and field modifications on equipment at customer sites.

The role emphasizes problem solving, safety, and strong communication with customers and teams. Travel within the region and occasional countrywide assignments are possible.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or trade/vocational certification is required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Understanding of AC/DC power principles and related components.
• 2+ years in field service repair and customer service with UPS/power systems.
• 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications.
• Collaborate with customers, electricians, sales partners, and support teams.
• Complete field service and expense reports, PMs, and startup data sheets.
• Work with the District Service Manager to resolve escalated issues.
• Continual learning and hands-on training on products.
