Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform assembly, startup, diagnostic, repair and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment at customer sites. The role requires troubleshooting with customers, electricians and partners, plus completing service reports and data sheets.

Travel may be local or national; on-site work with training opportunities and comprehensive benefits. The position emphasizes safety, reading blueprints, and repairing UPS/power distribution

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, trade/vocational certification, Military training or similar experience in electrical-related disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Understanding of AC/DC power and related components.
• Industrial/Commercial electrical experience.
• 2+ years in field service repair and customer service with UPS systems.
• 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and company digital tools.
• Ability to adhere to safety procedures and complete trainings on time.
• Ability to travel locally and countrywide as required.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modifications of equipment.
• Problem solve with customers, electricians, and partners.
• Complete field service reports and data sheets.
• Collaborate with management to resolve escalated issues.
• Continue training on products and classroom sessions.
