Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform startup, repair, preventive maintenance and field modifications on electrical equipment at customer sites across the U.S. You’ll collaborate with customers, partners and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure safe, reliable operation.

Training is provided in a dedicated facility with on-the-job mentoring and online modules. The role emphasizes safety, travel readiness and strong communication with customers and team

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, trade/vocational certification, military training or similar experience in electrical-related disciplines.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Thorough understanding of AC/DC power and related components.
• 2+ years in field service repair and customer service with UPS or similar equipment.
• Fluent in English with strong computer skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment.
• Collaborate with customers, electricians, sales partners and District Service teams to solve issues.
• Complete field service reports and data sheets; travel regionally as needed.
• Support project management on larger system start-ups and mentor junior staff as required.
