Job summary

Rexel USA in Modesto, CA is seeking a Commercial Outside Sales Representative to drive sales and growth within local markets. You will build strong customer relationships, promote our electrical and related product lines, and collaborate with suppliers to develop new opportunities.

You will analyze customer needs, prepare tailored product solutions, and manage the full sales lifecycle from lead to quote to closure, while leveraging company tools and training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or electrical industry experience
• Valid Driver's License
• High School or GED – Required

Responsibilities

• Sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products and communicate features and benefits
• Increase business by acquiring new customers and expanding sales to existing customers
• Collaborate with leadership to plan and implement sales strategies and explore new markets
• Assist customers with product selection and application using internal resources
• Establish and maintain lasting customer relationships
• Understand customer operations to tailor solutions to their objectives
• Prepare quotations and maintain communication throughout the purchasing lifecycle
• Coordinate with management, credit, and customers to resolve payment issues promptly
• Report market trends, pricing, and competitive information to management
• Participate in training and development to enhance selling skills and product knowledge
• Maintain accurate records of sales calls and expenses
• Collaborate with vendors to introduce products and provide solutions
