Job summary

IES Residential Inc in San Marcos, TX is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead field operations, coordinate crews, and ensure safe, on-time completion of electrical projects. You will supervise installation, maintenance, and repairs while upholding codes and customer expectations.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety practices, plus the ability to train and direct crews on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of electrical field leadership experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, project plans, and electrical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, installation practices, troubleshooting, and safety codes.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work on active job sites.
• English reading/writing preferred; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical crews to support project schedules, productivity, and quality.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work for accurate project execution.
• Review plans and communicate requirements to field personnel.
• Ensure work complies with company policies, safety standards, and electrical codes.
• Monitor progress, materials, equipment, and site conditions to address issues.
• Coordinate with project leadership, customers, subcontractors, and vendors regarding activities, materials, schedules.
• Provide direction, training, and support to electricians, technicians, and apprentices.
• Maintain records, reports, and documentation for field activities and progress.
• Promote a safe, organized, and professional jobsite and communication.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
