Job summary

IES is seeking an Electrical Foreman in Denison, TX to lead electrical field operations, coordinate crews, and ensure safe, timely project completion. The role requires overseeing installation, maintenance, and repair work while adhering to codes, company standards, and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, mentor electricians, manage multiple priorities, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, installation practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Understanding of workplace safety, electrical codes, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Ability to lead, coordinate, train, and provide direction to field personnel.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical crews and daily field activities to support schedules and quality.
• Oversee electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work.
• Review plans and communicate requirements to field personnel.
• Ensure work complies with policies, safety standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Monitor site progress and address issues affecting safety, quality, or timelines.
• Coordinate with project leadership, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Provide direction and training to electricians and apprentices.
