Job summary

IES Residential is seeking an Electrical Leadman in New Braunfels, TX to perform advanced electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to lead field personnel while ensuring safety and compliance with codes and company standards.

The candidate should have a Master Electrician license and 2–4 years of experience in electrical installation or field operations.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, installation practices, troubleshooting techniques, and construction methods.
Strong understanding of workplace safety practices, applicable electrical codes, and industry standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, project plans, specifications, and electrical documentation.
Ability to effectively lead, coordinate, train, and provide direction to electrical field personnel.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
Review project plans, specifications, and work orders to ensure accurate project execution.
Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.
Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding project activities and operational needs.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work and project activities.
Assist with training, mentoring, and leading less experienced technicians as needed.
Monitor equipment, materials, and job site conditions to support operational efficiency and safety.
Support project timelines and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
Maintain professionalism and effective communication throughout all customer and operational interactions.
