Job summary

IES Residential is seeking an Electrical Foreman to supervise electrical field operations and coordinate crews on high‑stakes projects in Austin, TX. You will ensure timely, safe, and compliant electrical installations, maintenance, and related work across project sites.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, blueprint reading, and problem‑solving skills, with experience in construction environments and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–4 years of electrical field experience.
• Experience leading electrical crews preferred.
• Relevant electrical certifications or licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical crews and daily field activities to support project schedules, productivity, and quality standards.
• Oversee electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
• Review project plans, blueprints, specifications, schematics, and work orders and communicate requirements to field personnel.
• Ensure electrical work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, applicable electrical codes, and project requirements.
• Monitor jobsite progress, workmanship, materials, equipment, and site conditions and address issues that may impact safety, quality, or project completion.
