Job summary

IES Residential seeks an Electrical Foreman to oversee field operations, coordinate crews, and ensure safe, on‑time completion of electrical projects. You will lead electricians, review plans, and enforce codes and safety standards on active worksites.

Qualifications include 4–6 years of field supervision, strong reading of blueprints, and excellent communication. Travel to project sites is expected; multilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of electrical field supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and installation practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to pass background and motor vehicle checks.
• English speaking and reading preferred; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical crews and daily field activities to support schedules and quality.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work.
• Review plans and communicate requirements to field personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Monitor progress and address issues impacting safety, quality, or completion.
• Coordinate with project leadership, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Provide direction and training to electricians and apprentices.
• Maintain project records and documentation.
