Job summary

IES is seeking an Electrical Foreman to oversee field operations, coordinate crews, and ensure safe, timely completion of electrical projects. You will lead electricians, review plans, and enforce quality and safety standards on-site.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and practical field leadership. On-site work is required with travel to various job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, installation practices, troubleshooting techniques, and construction methods.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices, applicable electrical codes, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, project plans, specifications, and electrical documentation.
• Ability to effectively lead, coordinate, train, and provide direction to electrical field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical crews and daily field activities to support project schedules and quality standards.
• Oversee electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work for accurate project execution.
• Review project plans and communicate requirements to field personnel.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Monitor progress, materials, and site conditions and address safety/quality issues.
