Job summary

IES Residential seeks an Electrical Foreman to lead field crews and oversee electrical installations on-site in San Marcos, TX. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely completion in line with project requirements and codes.

The candidate should have 2–4 years of experience, strong leadership, and solid communication skills to coordinate with project teams, customers, and vendors while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, installation practices, troubleshooting techniques, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, project plans, specifications, and electrical documentation.
• Experience leading or supervising electrical crews or field operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical crews and daily field activities to support project schedules, productivity, and quality standards.
• Oversee electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
• Review project plans, blueprints, specifications, schematics, and work orders and communicate requirements to field personnel.
• Ensure electrical work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, applicable electrical codes, and project requirements.
• Promote a safe, organized, and productive jobsite while maintaining professional communication with customers, coworkers, and business partners.
