Job summary

DEPCOM Power is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead and manage field crews on utility-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage System projects. You will ensure all work meets NEC code, safety standards, and project requirements while troubleshooting challenges and maintaining efficient workflow across nationwide sites.

You will oversee schedules, budgets, and risks, mentor field personnel, and promote a culture of continuous improvement on fast-paced, short-duration deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background in power systems, renewable energy, or related industries.
• Working knowledge of the NEC and its practical field application.
• Experience leading self-perform crews, craft labor, or subcontractors in construction, commissioning, or field service environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, construction documents, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for planning, reporting, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage self-perform field crews in repair, restoration, and maintenance of utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
• Develop and improve processes to drive consistency, increase productivity, and maximize project profitability.
• Ensure all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Foster knowledge sharing and clear ownership of responsibilities and decision rights.
• Drive project execution on schedule, within budget, and to quality expectations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and risks while maintaining proactive communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain a rolling three-week lookahead schedule and effective resource planning.
• Provide accurate daily reporting and support customer interactions as needed.
• Mentor field personnel to promote growth and continuous improvement.
