Job summary

DEPCOM Power, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator - Repowering & Restoration to drive detailed cost models for retrofit, repowering and restoration projects across utility-scale renewable energy facilities.

You will leverage estimating tools, field insights, and market data to support competitive proposals and ensure accurate scopes and budgets. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical construction estimating background, preferably in electrical contracting, EPC, or renewable

Qualifications

Experience estimating electrical construction for electrical contractors, EPCs, or similar.
Ability to estimate work on existing facilities with incomplete or unavailable documentation.
Knowledge of cost estimating best practices, methodologies and estimating software tools.
Experience performing quantity takeoffs, labor modeling, productivity analysis, vendor quote evaluation, and contingency development.
Strong communication of estimate assumptions, exclusions, risks and recommendations to technical/commercial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Review design packages, BOMs, and specs to develop accurate solar/BESS repowering estimates.
Develop detailed bottoms-up cost estimates for labor, equipment, materials, subs, rentals, mobilization, and other costs.
Review as-built documentation and perform quantity takeoffs for restoration/brownfield upgrades.
Perform electrical takeoffs from engineering designs and field documentation.
Develop estimate assumptions, exclusions, allowances, escalation factors, and contingencies.
