Job summary

DEPCOM Power is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator for Repowering & Restoration to support solar and BESS projects. Based preferably in Scottsdale, AZ with remote consideration and ~10% travel.

You will develop bottoms-up estimates, perform quantity takeoffs, review docs, and collaborate with development, engineering, procurement and construction to ensure competitive proposals and accurate cost models.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating electrical construction projects.
• Ability to estimate work on existing facilities with incomplete docs.
• Knowledge of cost estimating best practices and tools.

Responsibilities

• Review designs, BOMs and specs to develop accurate solar/BESS estimates.
• Prepare bottoms-up cost estimates for labor, equipment, materials, subs.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and site cost appraisals.
• Develop assumptions, exclusions, contingencies, and risk analysis.
• Collaborate across project teams to validate scope and risks.
