Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest is seeking an Electrical Estimator to perform MEP estimating, budgeting, and bidding on assigned projects. You will interact with architects, clients, and internal teams to define objectives and schedules, and develop hard bids and negotiated pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.

Required are a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2–3 years of MEP estimating experience, with strong skills in Excel, MS Project, Take Off, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in construction/engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of MEP estimating experience with mechanical or electrical subcontractors.
• Well-developed estimating, budgeting, negotiation, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and drawings; prepare quantity take-offs for projects.
• Solicit subcontractor bids for MEP projects and review for conformance.
• Compute costs and prepare estimates for bids and management use.
• Interface with clients, vendors, and internal staff to resolve issues.
