Structure Tone Southwest in Houston seeks an Electrical Estimator to perform MEP estimating, budgeting, and bidding for assigned projects. You will collaborate with architects, clients, business development, and operations staff to ensure clear objectives, schedules, and cost information for bids.

Duties include reviewing plans, obtaining subcontractor bids, analyzing estimates for compliance, maintaining cost data, and using estimating software to support the bid process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction/MEP or related field.
• 2–3 years of MEP estimating experience.
• Well-developed estimating, budgeting, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and drawings; prepare quantity take-offs for projects.
• Solicit subcontractor bids for MEP projects and analyze bids for compliance.
• Maintain cost data and track estimates; coordinate with vendors and clients.
• Use estimating software to compute cost factors and prepare bids.
• Identify cost trends and provide improvement recommendations.
