Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Estimator II to prepare bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects across the United States. You will collect data, review drawings, and craft accurate takeoffs to support winning bids.

Guidance from senior estimators will help you grow in scope and responsibility. This role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field and at least 3 years of estimating experience, with proficiency in Accubid and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience estimating commercial construction projects.
• Proficient in Accubid estimating.
• Proficient in CAD or 3D software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.
• Prepare estimates by calculating the complete takeoff of the scope of work.
• Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes.
• Itemize and quantify all incidentals for bids.
• Provide guidance to personnel preparing the completion matrix for bids.
• Develop labor productivity and unit costs with Senior Estimators.
