Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Estimator II to prepare bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. You will review drawings, perform takeoffs, solicit subcontractor quotes, and assemble bid packages for review by senior leadership, with guidance for small to medium projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering and at least 3 years of estimating experience in commercial electrical construction. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience estimating commercial construction projects, preferably electrical.
Proficient in Accubid estimating.
Proficient in CAD or 3D software preferred.

Responsibilities

Review proposal specs and drawings to determine scope of work.
Prepare estimates by complete takeoffs and entering into estimating system.
Identify qualified suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes.
Itemize and quantify all incidentals for bid packages.
