Job summary

Rosendin is seeking an Estimator II to prepare bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. You will work with senior estimators to assemble project costs, review drawings, and present bids to leadership.

The role requires proficiency in estimating tools, CAD/3D software, and strong communication to coordinate with suppliers, project teams, and management. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience estimating commercial construction projects, preferably electrical.
• Proficient in Accubid estimating and CAD or 3D software.

Responsibilities

• Review proposal specs and drawings to determine scope of work.
• Prepare estimates by complete takeoffs and entry into estimating system.
• Identify suppliers/subcontractors and solicit quotes; review for completeness.
• Itemize incidents for bids including sub-contractor work, equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Provide guidance on completion matrix discipline for bids.
• Develop labor productivity and unit costs with senior estimators.
• Explain estimates, scope of work, and quotes to leadership during turnover.
• Maintain files of working documents and backup estimating methodologies.
