Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. in San Jose is seeking an Estimator II to prepare bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects.

You will review drawings, perform takeoffs, identify subcontractors, and assemble bid packages for timely submission with guidance from a senior estimator. With a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering and at least 3 years in estimating, you will use Accubid and CAD tools, collaborate with teams, and present quotes to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years estimating commercial construction projects, preferably electrical.
• Proficiency in Accubid estimating; CAD or 3D software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review proposal specs and drawings to determine scope and requirements.
• Prepare estimates with complete takeoffs and input into estimating system.
• Identify subs, solicit quotes, and prepare bid packages with exclusions/clarifications.
