Job summary
Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead bid preparation and cost estimation for electrical construction projects. You will work with estimators, suppliers, and customers to deliver accurate estimates and ensure competitive proposals.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, at least 4 years of estimating experience, and proficiency with Accubid, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam. CAD/3D skills are a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years’ estimating or other relevant experience in construction.
- Experience with Accubid estimating software, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam preferred.
- CAD or 3D software experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare bid estimates from quantity take-offs and develop the estimate for bid packages.
- Review specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to define scope and contents.
- Provide leadership for discipline sub-estimates and mentor other estimators.
- After bid, meet with project management to ensure smooth turnover and execute the transition.
