Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking an Estimator I to assist in preparing bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. You’ll work under supervision to learn estimating procedures and support several small to medium projects.

You will review specs and drawings, perform takeoffs, and coordinate with suppliers to gather quotes while supporting senior estimators and the estimating manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 0-2 years estimating experience in commercial construction preferred.
• Basic exposure to Accubid estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Review proposal specs and drawings to determine scope of work.
• Prepare estimates by calculating takeoffs and entering data into the estimating system.
• Solicit quotes from suppliers and subcontractors; review for completeness.
• Collaborate with senior estimators to review scope, pricing, and requirements.
