Westlake offers a Graduate Rotational Opportunities program (GROW) designed for newly graduated electrical engineers. The program spans 3–5 years with rotations across Operations, Reliability, Capital Projects, Continuous Improvement, Process Controls, Business Management, and Supply Chain & Logistics.

Participants work under mentors, develop leadership and technical skills, and pursue post-program roles such as Process Engineer or Electrical Engineer while rotating through US locations.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Willing to rotate to different US locations every 12-18 months for 3-5 years.
• Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker’s Identification Card (TWIC).
• Strong team building, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake rotations across functions to develop leadership and technical skills.
• Work under a mentor to deliver projects that enable product and process innovation.
• Contribute to cost savings, quality improvement and efficiency.
• Develop leadership capabilities and strive for high performance.
• Maintain safety as a core value in all activities.
• Prepare for post-program roles such as Process Engineer, Production Engineer, or Reliability Engineer.
