Job summary

WSP is seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join the Federal Programs Team, with the option to work from Boise, ID; Overland Park, KS; Madison, WI or Virginia Beach, VA offices. You will contribute to design and construction of facility and infrastructure projects, from inception to completion, across various delivery methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited college or university.
• 5-7 years of relevant post-education experience.
• Working knowledge of NEC, ANSI/IEEE, NFPA, and ICC codes.
• Ability to pass security background checks and access facilities as required.
• Experience with electrical design for facilities and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Design within an electrical discipline team across a range of projects.
• Involve from inception to completion in design and construction.
• Deliver designs in multiple delivery frameworks (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Alternative Delivery).
• Develop electrical plans, specifications, and technical reports.
• Support cross-functional teams and project investigations and field work.
