Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Federal Power and Energy Team, with opportunities to work in Boise, ID; Overland Park, KS; Madison, WI; or Virginia Beach, VA offices. You will contribute from concept through construction on facility and infrastructure projects, delivering electrical design and related engineering services.

The role requires 7+ years of post‑education experience, a PE license, and the ability to travel within the US and internationally as project needs

Qualifications

ABET‑accredited Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
7+ years of post‑education electrical engineering experience delivering design for capital projects.
Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
US citizenship for security clearance per client requirements.
Familiarity with UFCs, UFGSs, FCs, NEC, ANSI/IEEE, NFPA, ICC codes.
Experience designing to NAVFAC and USACE standards.

Responsibilities

Design deliverables for wide range of electrical projects from inception to construction.
Develop single and three-line diagrams, wiring layouts, and lighting designs.
Perform load, short-circuit, coordination, arc flash, and voltage drop analyses.
