Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to design unit electrical systems and control panels for Trane Commercial HVAC products. You will develop layouts, perform transformer load calculations, and qualify components while generating test documentation for production release.

You will lead design activities, coordinate with designers and lab staff, and ensure compliance with agency approvals and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Physics required.
• At least 2 years of electrical engineering work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design unit electrical systems and control panels for Trane Commercial HVAC products.
• Develop control box layouts, wire harness routing, and transformer load calculations.
• Create lab test plans and analyze results; prepare schedules and reports for projects.
• Coordinate with engineers and technicians; support Product Planning and Technical Support teams.
