Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design unit electrical systems for commercial HVAC products, including control panels and integration of sensors and interconnection devices. You will generate designs, prototypes, test documentation and product release materials.

You will collaborate with engineers and technicians, ensure regulatory approvals, and contribute to safe, compliant, and efficient product development across Chillers, Rooftops, and Air Handlers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology or Engineering Physics required.
• Minimum 2 years of electrical engineering work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop control box layout designs, wire harness routing and transformer load calculations.
• Develop laboratory test plans and analyze test data.
• Provide guidance and leadership to designers, lab technicians and other team members.
• Coordinate activities of other engineers or technicians assigned to projects.
• Support Order Fulfillment teams to address safety, assembly and quality issues.
