Trane Technologies in La Crosse, WI is seeking an Airside Electrical Engineer II to design unit electrical systems for commercial HVAC products. You will create control panels, wire harnesses, and perform transformer load calculations. Travel is possible with domestic scope.

You will guide electrical designers, develop test plans, and participate in design reviews to ensure safety, quality, and manufacturability. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology is required.
• Experience with electrical design for HVAC equipment and control panels is required.
• Knowledge of safety and design standards (UL/CSA, NEC, ASHRAE 90.1, etc.) is essential.

Responsabilités

• Develop control box layouts and wire harness routing for Airside products.
• Lead electrical design reviews and support laboratory testing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project schedules.
• Assist in DFMEAs and risk assessments and ensure manufacturability.
