Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to create unit electrical designs for Trane HVAC Commercial products, including control panels and device integration. You will lead design elements, prototype testing, and documentation to release to production.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field with internship/coop experience, strong communication, and teamwork skills. Domestic and international travel up to 10% may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and internship/coop experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop unit electrical designs and control panel layouts.
• Develop laboratory test plans and analyze test data.
• Provide guidance to designers and lab technicians on projects.
• Execute electrical or quality and productivity improvement projects.
• Develop and update electrical drawings and standards.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
