Job summary
Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks an Electrical Engineer to perform complete electrical and instrumentation design on varied projects under supervision. You will produce calculations, sketches, and installation details while ensuring conformance to NEC and project specs.
Field data collection and on-site support are also expected. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of industry experience and professional engineering registration
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering registration highly preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
- Knowledge and application of the NEC (National Electrical Code).
Responsibilities
- Perform complete electrical and instrumentation design under supervision.
- Produce design calculations and sketches for materials of construction.
- Check calculations for code conformance and accuracy.
- Assist drafting group with layouts and details for drawings.
- Develop installation documents from vendor drawings and submittals.
- Provide field data collection and construction support.
