Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer with 6+ years in industrial settings to design and oversee electrical projects, including 15kV/5kV systems. You will develop diagrams, specs, and cost estimates while leading a small team and coordinating with cross-discipline leads.

The role requires a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, PE registration preferred, strong CAD skills, and hands-on fieldwork experience on complex projects in the United States.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the current NEC code and its application.
• Ability to perform lighting level calculations.
• Ability to size wire, conduit and overcurrent protection for lighting and power.
• Ability to develop equipment specifications for 15kV/5kV systems.
• Ability to lead a small project team.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete electrical/instrumentation engineering design tasks.
• Produce installation details, single-line diagrams, and wiring layouts.
• Develop construction cost estimates and schedules for projects.
• Review vendor drawings for electrical/instrumentation input.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
• Coordinate scope and design with discipline leads and design leaders.
