Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 3+ years of industrial experience. You will perform complete electrical and instrumentation designs under supervision, produce design calculations and material take-offs, and ensure conformance to NEC and project specs.

Responsibilities include collaboration with cross-discipline teams, assisting drafting with drawings, and providing field support during startup and commissioning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
• Knowledge and application of NEC and construction standards.
• Ability to size wire, conduit and overcurrent protection for lighting and power.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete electrical/instrumentation design for projects under supervision.
• Produce preliminary designs and material take-offs for estimates.
• Check calculations for accuracy and conformance to codes and standards.
• Collaborate with drafting to develop drawings and specifications.
• Provide field support during startup and commissioning.
