Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Irvine for the Federal Buildings Group. The role focuses on coordination, development, and production of electrical design deliverables, with hybrid work and at least two days in the office.

You will advance from basic design tasks to more complex projects in a technical team, ensuring timeliness and accuracy while collaborating with architects and other disciplines.

Qualificações

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is required.
• 2+ years' electrical design experience is required.
• Proficiency in REVIT and Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Understanding of IBC and Accessibility Codes.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare drawings and specifications detailing the Electrical System designed.
• Prepare inspection and design reports and presentation materials.
• Mentor studio culture and participate in design development.
• Attend internal and external meetings and document discussions.
• Work under supervision on defined standards and codes; travel as needed.
• Coordinate design with architects and other engineering disciplines.
• Research materials and assist in system design decisions.
