Jacobs Engineering Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer in the Federal Buildings Group. The role focuses on coordinating, developing, and producing electrical design deliverables, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work within a multi-discipline team.

The position is hybrid, requiring office attendance at least two days per week, and is based in the Irvine office. Candidates should bring extensive electrical design experience and a solid grasp of IBC and accessibility codes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required.
• 10+ years' electrical design experience required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• P.E. licensure preferred.
• Proficiency in REVIT and MS Word/Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare drawings and specifications detailing the electrical system designed.
• Prepare inspection and design reports and presentation materials.
• Support studio culture through mentoring, design development and other in-person activities.
• Participate in internal and external meetings and document discussions.
• Perform routine tasks under general supervision using well-defined standards, procedures, and codes.
• Travel to project sites or client offices as needed to meet contract requirements.
• Coordinate design with architects and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform product research; assist project designers and project architects with materials selection and system research.
