Jacobs Engineering Group in Irvine is seeking an Electrical Engineer to coordinate and develop deliverables for electrical design within the Federal Buildings Group, primarily for industrial project types. The role requires ownership of accuracy, timeliness, and collaboration with a technical team.

The position is hybrid with at least two days in the office, based in the Irvine office. Candidates should have a BSEE, 2+ years of electrical design experience, and familiarity with IBC/ADA codes,

Formación

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Candidates fluent in written and spoken English required.
• Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is required.
• 2+ years' Electrical design experience is required.
• Understanding of IBC and Accessibility Codes.
• Working knowledge of electrical building systems.
• Basic knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.
• Self-motivated with ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary design team.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and conversation.
• Proficiency in REVIT.
• P.E. or on track for attaining P.E. (EIT preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare drawings and specifications detailing the Electrical System designed.
• Prepare inspection and design reports and presentation materials.
• Support studio culture through mentoring, design development and other in-person activities.
• Participate in internal and external meetings and document discussions.
• Perform routine tasks under general supervision using defined standards, procedures and codes.
• Travel to project sites or client offices as needed to meet contract requirements.
• Represent Jacobs with internal and external personnel on significant matters.
• Coordinate design with architects and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform product research; assist project designers and project architects with materials selection and system research.
