Job summary

Exelon is seeking an engineer to develop designs, drawings and material lists for utility infrastructure projects across generation, transmission, distribution, gas and telecom facilities. The role involves field engineering, coordinating with internal and external teams, and supporting customer needs with adherence to standards.

The position requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, CAD proficiency, analytical skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent technical degree or 5-7 years of technical experience.
• Ability to analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of construction, operations or engineering principles.
• Proficient CAD drawing and design skills.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develops designs, layouts, construction drawings, and a bill of material for complex utility infrastructure projects.
• Interprets and applies engineering standards and memos for projects.
• Coordinates with teams on customer requirements and field engineering tasks.
• Maintains safety, regulatory, and quality requirements during projects.
