Job summary
Arcadis in the United States is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for Building Systems to support our multidisciplinary Design and Engineering team. You will design building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and IT, and prepare IFC drawings for multiple projects.
You will collaborate with architects, engineers and clients, applying NFPA, NEC, IEEE and other standards, and use tools such as Revit, AutoCAD and SKM to deliver integrated designs across
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years of relevant Electrical Engineering experience.
- Electrical design and specification experience in power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, access control and related systems.
- Experience producing IFC drawings and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical designs and drawings for building facilities and systems.
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve design-related problems.
- Apply industry standards and safety codes (NFPA, NEC, IEEE, UL, IEC).
