Job summary

Arcadis, a leading global design and engineering firm, seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical discipline across multiple data center projects from pursuit through construction. You will guide design efforts, act as engineer of record, and mentor staff on data center electrical design, while supporting business development and client engagement.

Qualifications

BS in electrical engineering or equivalent.
8+ years of relevant experience in engineering.
State-issued professional engineering license preferred.
Understanding of telecom and fire alarm design including prescriptive, performance-based design as well as full detailed design.

Responsibilities

Lead design efforts for data center electrical systems and serve as engineer of record.
Manage multi-project electrical design across pursuit, proposal, design, and construction phases.
Coordinate with other disciplines to produce construction-ready drawings and ensure IFC compliance.
Travel to project sites for site surveys and client collaboration.
Develop industry relationships with design professionals and clients.
Stay current with NFPA, NEC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, UL, UFC, IEC, CE, EN standards.
