Job summary

Stantec's Denver office is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for a variety of multi-disciplinary building projects and support cross-disciplinary teams. The role focuses on high voltage, power distribution, lighting, and energy storage within a collaborative, design-forward environment.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of building design experience; a Professional Engineer license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of experience in building design.
• Registered Professional Engineer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems including high voltage, power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm for multiple project types.
• Coordinate designs with architecture and other engineering disciplines.
• Mentor staff and supervise junior engineers on projects.
• Develop and document engineering calculations and system applications.
