Job summary

Stantec’s Boise office is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead and contribute across multiple design projects. You will design high voltage and distribution systems, energy storage, lighting, and fire alarm solutions for a variety of building and industrial projects, coordinating with architecture and other engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 7+ years of experience in building design.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
• Up-to-date knowledge of codes and technologies.
• Proficient in engineering design and documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems (HV, power distribution, energy storage, lighting, fire alarm) for diverse multi-disciplinary projects.
• Prepare and adhere to budgeted hours for projects.
• Perform or supervise load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Coordinate designs with architecture and other engineering disciplines.
• Mentor staff and supervise junior engineers on projects.
• Prepare technical reports and participate in client meetings.
