Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking an Electrical Designer to join a multidisciplinary design group. You will help develop electrical systems from concept through construction documentation under guidance from senior engineers.

This role offers the opportunity to build technical expertise, collaborate across disciplines, and gain exposure to real-world project delivery in a fast-paced A/E environment. You will help ensure designs are accurate and aligned with client requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit for design development and construction documentation.
• Electrical design knowledge with ability to coordinate across disciplines.
• Minimum 1 year of electrical design experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs that meet project objectives, codes and standards.
• Produce accurate construction documentation that is complete and well-coordinated.
• Support project planning and execution to align with schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate design solutions with architectural teams and other engineering disciplines.
• Maintain organized project files, calculations and technical documentation.
• Ensure quality assurance standards throughout all design phases.
• Monitor scope and document deviations as they arise.
