Job summary

IREN seeks a Construction Supervisor – Electrical to lead field crews on data center projects, overseeing medium‑voltage systems, switchgear, and MCCs. You will ensure safety, schedule adherence, and NEC compliance while coordinating with multiple trades and stakeholders on onsite deployments.

The role requires a Journeyman Electrician License, 5+ years in electrical construction, and strong supervision and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician License required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with medium‑voltage systems, switchgears, and MCCs.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, mechanical plans, and blueprints.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills; coordinate with managers, peers, customers and subs.
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment by following company safety protocols and OSHA requirements.
• Delegate and perform work using blueprints, charts, tables, work orders, and verbal instructions; manage tasks from start to finish.
• Supervise electricians and apprentices to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues by installing or replacing wiring, devices, and components.
• Conduct routine jobsite inspections and evaluate the electrical team's performance.
• Communicate progress, needs, and concerns with other trades, team members, subcontractors, and customers.
