Job summary

IREN is hiring a Construction Supervisor – Electrical in Childress, Texas, to lead electrical construction activities on mission‑critical data center projects. You will oversee medium‑voltage systems, switchgear, MCCs and critical power distribution, guiding field crews and coordinating with trades to execute work safely and efficiently.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical construction, a Journeyman Electrician License, strong reading of plans, and excellent supervisory and communication

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician License required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with medium voltage systems, switchgear, MCCs.
• Strong ability to read electrical drawings, mechanical plans, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA requirements.
• Delegate and perform tasks from blueprints, charts, and work orders; manage tasks end-to-end.
• Supervise electricians and apprentices to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues by wiring and components replacement.
• Conduct routine jobsite inspections and evaluate team performance.
• Communicate progress and needs clearly with trades, team members, customers and subcontractors.
