Job summary

IREN is seeking a Construction Supervisor - Electrical in Childress, Texas to lead electrical construction activities on high‑performance data center projects. You will oversee field crews, coordinate across trades, and ensure safety, quality, and NEC compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Journeyman Electrician License, 5+ years in electrical construction, and strong supervisory skills. Expect site rotation, day/night shifts, and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician License required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction, with proven experience on medium voltage systems, switchgears, and MCCs.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, mechanical plans, and blueprints.
• Exceptional supervisory and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with managers, peers, customers, and subcontractors.
• Proficient in applying local electrical codes and the NEC.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company safety protocols and OSHA requirements.
• Delegate and perform work based on blueprints, charts, tables, work orders, and verbal instructions; organize assigned tasks from start to finish.
• Supervise all activities of electricians and apprentices to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues by installing or replacing wiring, devices, and components in a timely and effective manner.
• Conduct routine jobsite inspections and evaluate the performance of the electrical team.
• Communicate clearly with other trades, team members, subcontractors, and customers regarding job progress, needs, and concerns.
