Job summary

IREN, a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider, seeks a Construction Manager – Electrical to lead electrical systems delivery in data center environments. You will oversee power distribution, UPS, liquid cooling interfaces, and reliability-critical infrastructures, coordinating with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical construction management, preferably in mission-critical environments.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale electrical construction projects from design through commissioning.
• Strong understanding of UPS systems, generators, switchgear, PDUs, redundant power distribution, and liquid cooling technologies.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE and other standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, execution, and delivery of electrical construction activities for data center projects, including power distribution and UPS.
• Review electrical design documents and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Interface with mechanical, civil, and IT/Network teams for seamless integration with liquid cooling.
• Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for timely, quality installation.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of electrical systems to meet uptime targets.
• Ensure electrical work adheres to NFPA, NEC, OSHA and internal safety standards.
• Track progress, schedules, and costs to achieve milestones within budget.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to redundancy and reliability.
• Provide updates to leadership and stakeholders on progress and challenges.
