Job summary

IREN is seeking a Construction Supervisor – Electrical in Sweetwater, Texas to lead field crews of electricians, coordinate across trades, and ensure safety and NEC compliance on medium‑voltage projects for high‑performance data center infrastructure.

You will leverage a Journeyman license and 5+ years in electrical construction to interpret drawings, supervise teams, and deliver results on a 24/7 project schedule with night shifts and premiums.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical construction.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, mechanical plans, and blueprints.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills; coordinate with managers, peers, customers and subcontractors.
• Proficient in applying NEC and local electrical codes.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA requirements.
• Delegate and perform work based on blueprints, charts, tables, work orders, and verbal instructions; organize tasks from start to finish.
• Supervise all activities of electricians and apprentices to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues by installing or replacing wiring, devices, and components.
• Conduct routine jobsite inspections and evaluate the performance of the electrical team.
• Communicate clearly with other trades, team members, subcontractors, and customers regarding job progress, needs, and concerns.
