Job summary

IREN is seeking a Construction Manager – Electrical to lead the delivery of complex electrical systems in high-performance data centers. You will oversee power infrastructure, UPS, generators, and advanced liquid cooling integration while coordinating with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams.

This role requires a Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent, a bachelor's in electrical engineering or related field, and at least 7 years in electrical construction management,

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license and related electrical qualifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical construction management in mission-critical environments.
• Proven track record managing large-scale electrical construction projects from design through commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems, generators, switchgear, PDUs, and liquid cooling technologies.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, execution, and delivery of electrical construction activities for data center projects.
• Review electrical design documents and submittals for compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and IT/Network teams for integrated systems.
• Supervise subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality installations.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and commissioning of UPS, generators, switchgear, and power paths.
• Ensure adherence to NFPA/NEC/OSHA and internal safety standards.
• Track progress, schedules, and costs to meet milestones within budget.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to electrical infrastructure and redundancy.
• Provide clear updates to leadership and stakeholders.
