Job summary

Talent Corps is seeking a Safety Coordinator for a local full-time position in Baltimore, MD. The role supports large-scale commercial construction projects and requires 1–3 years of construction safety experience with OSHA knowledge.

It focuses on inspections, training, and compliance with OSHA standards in a non-travel, local setting. The candidate should coordinate with project teams, lead safety meetings, manage documentation, and promote a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of construction safety experience.
• Experience with large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with project teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Experience with electrical contractors or electrical construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and audits.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Assist with new hire safety orientations and safety training.
• Participate in accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and prepare reports.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and project records.
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices.
• Work with field leadership to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Support project teams with safety planning and regulatory compliance.
