EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Safety Representative, Construction (Mechanical) (On-Site) for our Baltimore, MD operations.

The role supports the Director, Loss Control and the project team in enforcing health and safety standards across mechanical and electrical construction sites. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, investigations, updating safety plans, coordinating training, and ensuring regulatory compliance to maintain a zero-incident culture at field locations in the Greater

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health and safety and/or environmental or related discipline.
• 5+ years experience in a safety-related department or field in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with Health And Safety Plans (HASP) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
• OSHA 10-hour and OSHA 30-hour construction safety class or equivalent and maintain competency through ongoing safety coursework.
• Familiarity with OSHA, federal/state/city safety regulations and practices.
• CHST, STS, OSHA 500 are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director, Loss Control with safety procedures and processes to protect workers.
• Maintain safety electronic reporting system and injury data as required.
• Conduct near-miss and accident investigations to identify root causes.
• Assist with site inspections and evaluations for compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Update HASP, JHA, and safety documentation as needed.
• Coordinate safety training, toolbox talks, and ensure trainings are current.
• Enforce safety program and report violations at job sites.
• Assist with daily safety checklists for tools, equipment, and materials.
• Promote a zero-accident environment in company activities.
