Benfield Electric Inc. is seeking a skilled journeyman supervisor for on-site electrical operations in the Baltimore area. You will oversee project execution, coordinate with the PM and teams, and ensure timely completion with strict adherence to safety standards.

The role requires 3–5 years as a journeyman and supervisory experience, strong blueprint reading, and proficiency with project management tools. A competitive pay range reflects experience, with full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman license is required.
• 3–5 years of journeyman experience with installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and installation manuals.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills for efficient electrical issue resolution.
• Leadership and training abilities fostering teamwork and excellence.
• Proficient in interlock wiring and testing electrical systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of on-site electrical operations, coordinating with the Project Manager.
• Develop, adjust, and adhere to work timelines to meet project schedules.
• Collaborate with project management, prefabrication, and design teams.
• Organize and coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure safety/compliance with codes.
• Train, mentor, and provide performance feedback to field crew members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and post-project reviews.
• Establish professional relationships within the industry.
